SPRINT World Orienteering Championships took place in the very heart of Denmark: in the three fantastic and versatile cities, Kolding, Fredericia and Vejle. All three cities have old historic city centres with a cobweb of backyards, alleyways and smaller streets and they represent the beginning of Danish history with many sites of cultural interest.

We welcomed the world's most fantastic cycling race Tour de France Grand Départ, right here in the Triangle Region of Denmark with great enthusiasm. Stage 3 started in hilly terrain in Vejle before the route took the riders south through our beautiful area towards Kolding and Haderslev.
2022 UCI Mountainbike Marathon World Championships in Haderslev

The world’s best mountain bike riders competed for the rainbow jersey in the beautiful and challenging terrain in Haderslev. One hundred twenty tough kilometres await the world elite, approximately 50% on gravel, 40% singletrack and a smaller amount of dirt and paved roads.

The 2022 WWR World Championships took place in Spektrum, DGI-huset in Vejle. The top 12 teams competed to crown the world champion over six days of exciting wheelchair rugby.
