The green transition has no boundaries
Climate change knows neither municipal boundaries nor sectoral divisions. Therefore, the seven municipalities in the Triangle Region collaborate on green transition with private companies, utility companies, and industry organizations.
Strategic Energy Planning
Strategic energy planning must ensure the transition to a flexible energy system that consumes less and renewable energy. This requires a holistic approach and way of thinking across municipalities and utility companies.
Fortunately, this is precisely one of our great strengths in the Triangle Region – we have a number of well-functioning collaborations between the municipalities and joint utility companies that cover large parts of our geography. We use this to stand even stronger through knowledge building, projects, and coordinated planning, so we reach the goal with strategic energy planning that secures the future and is holistic at the same time.
By reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering CO2 emissions, we can combat climate change and create a foundation for future welfare. Hydrogen, as an energy source produced using renewable energy, can be used for transport, heating, and industry. This contributes to reducing air pollution. Green transition also creates new jobs and economic growth by attracting investments in green technology and energy production.
A stakeholder landscape with great ambitions
The collaboration on green transition includes both large and small projects – but all with a high level of ambition and a willingness to lead the way.
Your participation is important. Small actions like reducing energy consumption and supporting green initiatives can make a big difference. Together we can create a greener Triangle Region.
