Analysis: The Green Competencies of the Future Are Created Together

Companies in Southern Jutland demand solid technical skills, knowledge of ESG, and cross-disciplinary competencies. Collaboration between higher education institutions and companies is one of the ways to meet the competency needs and ensure qualified labor for the green transition.

This is shown in the analysis "The Green Competencies of the Future Are Created Together," which is based on qualitative interviews conducted with 35 companies in Southern Jutland. The analysis was prepared by the Triangle Region Denmark as part of the project "Qualified Labor for Lighthouse South: Green Energy and Sector Coupling."

The analysis accounts for both the competency needs faced by companies in Jutland and the ways in which companies attempt to meet them. Additionally, the analysis addresses how collaboration with higher education institutions currently takes place, as well as the real possibilities for cooperation.
