About employee employment
Employee employment measured in full-time equivalents includes all jobs converted to full-time positions. Self-employed are not included. Full-time employment is a measure of the activity taking place in companies. Employment is less volatile than companies' turnover and value added, which provides a better picture of underlying trends. Growth in employee employment in recent years has been limited by the low supply of available labor in Denmark, which may cause companies instead to grow in other ways, e.g., through increased use of technology.
