Green Heroes and Debate on the Kombardo Stage

In June, the Triangle Region Denmark will participate in Folkemødet in Allinge. The participation is part of our joint advocacy efforts and aims to strengthen the visibility of the Triangle Region as a central player in the green transition.

Under the project Qualified Workforce for Lighthouse South, we will be present with a stand in collaboration with Business Esbjerg and Work Live Stay. Here, we focus on the long-term effort to influence young people's educational choices towards technical and scientific educations, which are crucial to ensuring qualified labor for the energy and climate sector.

The Ambassador Corps Future Green Heroes is represented by two students from Fredericia School of Marine Engineering. They participate in a debate on the climate conditions in a time of crisis on the Kombardo stage on June 12 from 11 am to 12 pm and also meet Folkemødet participants at the stand. This links the national debate on green transition directly to the concrete educational and career paths developed in and around the Triangle Region.

Presence at Folkemødet provides an opportunity to bring the Triangle Region's common agendas into the national conversation – and to strengthen cooperation with key players on future competencies.
