The Triangle Region Denmark participated in the dialogue at the Climate People's Meeting and Craft Festival

At the Climate People's Meeting in Middelfart, the Triangle Region Denmark hosted a debate on what Danish municipalities can gain by working together to solve climate and environmental challenges, just as the seven municipalities in the Triangle Region do.

Lisbet Wolters, who is City Architect and Head of City, Country & Climate in Vejle Municipality, was the moderator and was joined by Frederik Bloch Münster, who is the climate spokesperson for the Conservative People's Party, and Haderslev Municipality's mayor, Mads Skau.

The mayor and the member of parliament ensured an exciting conversation about, among other things, the Green Tripartite and how municipalities can obtain - and create - the best conditions for solving climate challenges. Many thanks to Middelfart Municipality for a fantastic event, and also a big thank you to Mads Skau, Frederik Bloch Münster, and Lisbet Wolters for taking time out of their busy schedules to contribute to creating an exciting and enlightening debate on the Small Stage.

On the outskirts of the Climate People's Meeting, the CRAFT festival was simultaneously held for the fourth time. All upper secondary school classes in Middelfart Municipality are invited around Middelfart Harbor to meet local companies and vocational education stands, where manual work is the focus. This includes everything from plumbers and electricians to chefs.

Students from, among others, SDU and Fredericia School of Marine Engineering, who are part of the ambassador corps Future Green Heroes from the project Qualified Workforce for Lighthouse South, spoke with more than 1000 students from Middelfart Municipality about green career opportunities.
